Gucci Shop & Bar

Pop-up boutique and cafe for the Italian brand at Patriarch’s Ponds.

Celebrating the release of the iconic bags’ update (Jackie 1961, GG Marmont, Dionysus и Horsebit 1955), the brand’s Russian office asked us to create a pop-up boutique and cafe at Patriarch’s Ponds. We meticulously looked for the right location for this project and finally chose Margarita Bistro and the next-door 42 Coffee Shop for an almost full makeover.

The boutique located in the coffee shop space was designed according to the brand guidelines: white floors, neon drapes, framed bags resembling pieces of art. Guests of the pop-up store had an opportunity to get a coffee to go in the unique branded Gucci cups that quickly became an absolute hit with the Muscovites, and over 25 000 cups were sold.

Margarita Bistro was remodeled by the architect Julia Ionova and the Lupine Flower Factory. Together we created and produced almost all furniture, added the so-called Gucci Touch and new floristic decisions to the space.

Every 10 days, Gucci Shop & Bar presented a new menu curated by the Australian chef Glen Ballis and focused not only on the brand’s native Italy, but also on the trendy Asia. Tiramisu with black caviar and yuzu became the main hit.

Gucci Shop & Bar was open from 20 May to 15 June. The space was visited by more than 10 000 people.
